Solifyn enables you to sell downloadable files, software, e-books, or templates securely.

How to Set Up Digital Delivery

To configure digital file downloads for your customers, follow these steps:

Upload Digital Files

Navigate to the Digital Files section in your dashboard. Upload your assets (such as ZIP files, PDFs, or images) by dragging and dropping them into the upload field. Each file records:
  • File Name
  • File Size (in bytes)
  • Mime Type
  • Storage URL

Configure Product Delivery Settings

When creating or updating a Product, toggle the option Enable Digital Delivery (hasDigitalDelivery = true).

Link uploaded files to the Product

Select the uploaded files you want to associate with this product. This links them in the database via the ProductFile relationship.

Customer Download Flow

Once a customer successfully completes checkout for a product with digital delivery enabled:
  1. They receive a confirmation email with a secure download URL.
  2. In the Customer Portal, they can view their order and download the files directly.
  3. Access is automatically validated against their transaction status.

Deleting Files

If you delete a digital file from your dashboard:
  • It is removed from the active digital files registry.
  • Important: New purchasers will no longer receive access to the file. Existing customers who already purchased the product retain their access via saved order snapshots.
